Understanding Your Scorecard
Your result will show an NTA Score rather than a raw percentage. This is a normalized score that shows how you performed compared to other people who took the exam in the same shift. Since the exam happens over several days, this method makes the scoring fair for everyone.
If you took part in both Session I and Session II, the NTA will use your best score from the two sessions to decide your final rank. Your All India Rank (AIR) is also released along with these Session II results. This rank is what you will use during the counseling process to get a seat in an architecture or planning college.
Selection Process
Your admission depends on your NTA score and the resulting All India Rank. There is no separate interview; you will participate in centralized counseling to choose your college based on your rank.
What Happens After the Result?
Once you have your scorecard, the next step is the counseling process. This is usually handled by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). You will need to register on their portal and list the colleges you want to join in order of preference.
You should keep your documents ready for verification. This includes your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, your JEE Main scorecard, and any category certificates if you have them. The counseling rounds will determine which institute you get based on your rank and the choices you submitted.
