Eligibility

Educational Qualifications

If you want to teach classes 1 through 5, you need a Bachelor’s degree from a college recognized by the NCTE. You also need a teacher training qualification like BTC or B.El.Ed. You should have at least 50% marks in your graduation. If you are currently in the final year of your teacher training course, you are still allowed to apply.

For teaching classes 6 through 8, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. You also need a teaching qualification such as B.Ed, BTC, or B.El.Ed. If you have special education degrees from institutes approved by the RCI, you can also submit an application. In some cases, if you have 50% marks in your intermediate exams and a 4-year integrated teaching degree, you are eligible.
